Therefore he says, "When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men."{Psalm 68:18} He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds{or, pastors} and teachers; (Ephesians 4:8, 11)

The five "gifts unto men" from the ascended and glorified Christ, which are often grouped together by Paul: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor-Teacher, and Teacher, as well as the unique gift of Deacon or Servant (1 Timothy 3:8-13).
